READ TO ROOF
“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” – Margaret Fuller
Read to Roof engages, educates, and connects participants with Ugandan children and their culture. This is an innovative fundraiser that links students in the U.S. with their partner schools in Uganda.
How it works: American children invite friends, neighbors and family members to pledge money for every book they read during the fundraiser (usually between three weeks and two months). This serves as both a motivational driver to improve reading skills and as an inspirational tool, showing children they can make a difference. They can change the world.
Download the Read to Roof packet and watch your children grow in reading and global engagement.
